Corney was born to Peter & Margareta in Sunny Slope, AB. At a young age, he became a Christian, serving God the rest of his life teaching Sunday School, DVBS, etc. He married Susie Buhler on April 5th 1952 and they had five children – Harold, Lawrence, Vi, Marv, and Roland. His occupation was farming and hobbies included music and reading. He leaves to mourn his wife Susie of 63 years, Harold and Natalie with children Errol (Becca) and Ethan, Dori (Darell) Koop and Oakley & Ryder – Lawrence and Joyce with children Karleigh (Tim) Friesen, Landon (Stephanie) – Vi and Fatima – Marv and Gwen with children Colby, Ciara – Roland and Gayle with children McKenzie (Frank) Banman, Tanner, Connor – sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the Tofield Mennonite Church with Pastor Ken Stumph officiating.
