SCHMIDT, Andrew Thomas
April 29, 1997 – December 13, 2014
Andrew Schmidt, beloved son of Murray and Karen Schmidt and brother of Hannah all of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the age of 17 years.
Andrew was born on April 29, 1997 in Estevan, SK. Andrew moved with his family to Lloydminster, AB in February of 2000 where they resided for the next ten years. He attended Martin Brown and Rendell Park Elementary Schools, and Bishop Lloyd Junior High in Lloydminster. In July of 2010, they moved to Calgary where he attended Vincent Massey Junior High and Ernest Manning High School. Andrew enjoyed playing hockey, rugby, spending time with friends and numerous family vacations. He also enjoyed refereeing and volunteering with youth programs within his church.
Besides his parents and sister, Andrew is remembered by his grandparents, Lawrence and Donna Schmidt of Melville, SK and Morgan and Ellie Day of Lloydminster; uncles and aunts, Darcy and Debra Schmidt, Karen and Bryan Sies and Archie and Ronda Day and their families.
