November 2, 1926 – August 4th, 2011

On August 4, 2011, at the age of 84, dad passed away unexpectedly after living a fulfilling, active life to meet his Lord and Savior.  He was born in Sedalia, southern Alberta on November 2, 1926.

Henry had a great love for his whole family and was a major contributor to forming a close family with his Christian convictions and unending love.  He was very involved in church activities (taught youth college and career class) which he enjoyed so much that he often talked how much he enjoyed teaching the youth.  He held many church positions but had to step back because of health related problems.

Henry will be greatly missed by his wife Mary of 59 years and 2 sons and 2 daughters:  Gerald (Janice), Elaine (Brian), Ron (Joan) and Arlene (Darren); 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011 at Tofield Mennonite Church. Interment took place at Tofield Cemetery.
