It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Al Penner on Friday, January 27, 2006 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 44 years.
Al, a native Calgarian, graduated from Queen Elizabeth High School in 1979. He started out in the family construction business and later started his own company, Clearview Management Ltd. Al was a happy man with a big smile and always had a good story to tell. He will be missed by his extended family and many good friends.
Al is survived by his loving parents, John and Katie Penner; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Erisa Penner and Bruce and Julie Penner; niece Karina and nephews Jordan, Joel and Matthew.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, January 30, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Foothills Mennonite Church (2115 Urbana Road N.W.) on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Doug Klassen, Presider. Family Graveside Service will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
