Krueger, Arthur

KRUEGER, Arthur William

February 4, 1933 – Borden, Saskatchewan

January 13, 2016 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur William Krueger on January 13, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Arthur’s wife of 61 years, Alma was at his side.

Arthur grew up on a small family farm south of Borden, Saskatchewan. At the age of 18 he left to pursue a career in the drilling industry. He married the love of his life, Alma in 1954. They began their family and in 1961 they moved to Calgary where Arthur continued his very successful career. Arthur retired in 1987.

Arthur was very passionate about flying his own planes. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, harvesting a beautiful wheat crop and spending time with his family and we all know how much he loved their dog “Teddy”!

Arthur will be lovingly remembered by all the lives he touched, especially his family; wife Alma; daughter Catherine (Bruce) Flath; sons Calvin (Liz), Grant, and Wayne (Paulina); grandchildren Kimberly, Mandy (Jerry) Bellrose, Zachary (Jill) Flath, Austin (Mayling) Krueger, Caylon Krueger, Dylan Krueger (Laura), and Keatin (Bram) Hobuti; great-grandchildren Madyson, Hannah, Libby Bellrose, Reezon Flath, Nevaeh, and Axton Krueger; step-grandchildren Garrett Martin, Allison Massey, Chelsea and Cody Cole. He is also survived by his siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Arthur was predeceased by his parents Olga and William and his sister Ellen, as well as his daughter-in-law Sue-Ann.

It is heavy on our hearts that he suffered as long as he did, Art suffers no longer.

Forever in our hearts and safe in the arms of Jesus.
