Klassen, Rudolph (Rudy) Braun

klassen

Klassen, Rudolph (Rudy) Braun beloved husband of Anne Klassen of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the age of 71 years.

He lived his life passionately with a contagious love for his family and friends. As a husband, he modeled the love of Christ by daily laying down his life for his bride of 47 years. As a father and grandfather he never missed an opportunity to be a support and help in good times and bad. As a friend he was “the glue that held the neighbourhood together”. Rudy will be missed terribly for his huge heart and humble wit. His love for biking, skiing, fishing and playing hockey were times he cherished with his friends and family.

We don’t know why God took him so soon, but there is joy and peace in the knowledge that He is with His Lord and Savoir, Jesus, God’s Son.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife Anne: his two sons, James and Rod; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Sarah. He is also survived by three brothers and six sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
