George Janzen of Calgary, passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Sunday, January, 30, 2011 at the age of 90 years.
George is survived by two sons, Ted Janzen of Calgary and Clarence (Dawn) Janzen of Yarrow, BC; two daughters, Wendy (Don) Ekstrom of Oakville, ON and Maggie (Neil) Harker of Surrey, BC; and grandchildren, Leeland (Sabrina) and Sherry (Bradley Guy) Ekstrom, Michael, Jeremy, Christopher and Joshua Janzen, Gillian and Sydney Harker, and Joel, Jocelyn, Adam, Mark, and James Janzen.
George was predeceased by his loving wife Gay Janzen.
Graveside Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of George’s Life will follow at First Evangelical Free Church (732 – 55th Avenue S.W.) on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
