April 24, 1927 – March 1, 2019
Erna went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 1, 2019 at the age of 91. She will be dearly missed by sister, Irene; brother, Jack; son, Nelson; daughter, Janice; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and extended family. Erna was predeceased by husband, Edd; sons, Bruce and Richard; 7 brothers and sisters; granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Erna took great pride in sewing stunning clothing from bridal gowns to casual wear. She was known to always have a smile and a kind word for all whom she met. Erna instilled strong values, morals and wisdom to her children and grandchildren. Words alone cannot express our appreciation for the tender care mom received from the staff at Trinity Lodge. A Visitation will be held at Foothills Mennonite Church, 2115 Urbana Road NW, Calgary, AB on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. A private Graveside Service will be held at Edenbrook Memorial Gardens.
