Marvin Boettger was born on the family farm near Tofield, AB on July 7, 1922; he passed away in Tofield, AB on January 16, 2014 at the age of 91 years.He is survived by three sons Derril (Wanda), Elwood (Heather), Jerry (Val); eight grandchildren Bruce (Shantelle), Lisa (Craig) Schweitzer, Jason (Kim), Brad (Lisa), Ryan (Stephanie), Brent (Jen), Shawn, Corey; fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Elsie Boettger and Marjorie Boettger; special friend Joyce Mackie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews relatives and friends.Marvin was predeceased by his wife Edith in 2008.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Salem Mennonite Church with Pastor Mark Loewen. Interment will take place at the Salem Mennonite Cemetery.
