The images from the 1911 census were placed online by the National Archives in Canada on 21 Jul 2005. We are looking for volunteer transcribers immediately.

- Suggested Template for Index (xls format for PC; right-click and save-as to your hard drive)
If a person of interest is found in our indexes linked from our provincial pages below, gp to the Advanced Search screen at the Library & Archives Canada 1911 website and a) tickmark the Province, enter the District # & enter the Subdistrict #. In the resulting “hit”, you’ll be able to select the page number and then scroll to the line numbers of interest.
Otherwise you’ll have to do it the hard way – by reviewing the online images yourself. Naturally, we welcome submitted indexes
