PAULS,  Anne

May 10, 1932 ~ December 22, 2015

Anne Pauls of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Corey Pauls, surrounded by loving family, passed peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior at GSS Park Meadows Village on December 22, 2015 at the age of 83 years.

Anne was born in Delia, AB on May 10, 1932. Because Anne lost her mother at age 9, her childhood memories were of hard work on the sugar beet farm north of Coaldale and of being a caregiver to the family. Anne met her “Sweetie,” Corey, in 1950 and they married in 1951. The young couple farmed and raised their family in the Grassy Lake area until 1974 when they moved to Taber. In 1982, Anne realized her dream of moving to Lethbridge where she and Corey enjoyed their retirement years together. Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sibling and friend. Always on the move, she was a woman of many interests and talents whose hands were never idle. Anne and Corey pulled their trailer to Arizona for 17 winters and countless times to Gospel Jamborees. Most notably, Anne was a loving and devoted wife to Corey for over 64 years. Their deep love and commitment to each other was a testimony of a life and marriage well lived.

Besides her loving husband Corey, Anne is loved and remembered by Rod (Dianne) Pauls, Sheryl (Eric) Dyck, Arnold (Shauna) Pauls, 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, sister Mary (Alan) Megli, half-sister Frieda (John) Dueck, half-brothers John (Frieda) Boschman and Henry (Grace) Boschman; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families. Anne was predeceased by her parents and step-mother, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson.

Corey and family deeply appreciate the loving care demonstrated to Anne by the management and staff of Cottage 6 at Park Meadows Village.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Dave Acree officiating. Noon luncheon will follow at the Evangelical Free Church for family and friends.
