Biographical History

An outreach program initated by members of the Foothills Mennonite Church, Calgary, resulted in worship services by Chinese and Vietnames Mennonites at Foothills Mennonite Church.  Initially the Chinese group held services alternately with the Vietnames group, but by 1986 the groups had formed two separate churches, each with its own pastor. The Chinese Mennonite Church bought a building of their own and sought affiliation with Mennonite Church Alberta and Mennonite Church Canada.   In 1995 there were 95 members; in 2000 70.
