Alfred Polzin fonds. -1958-1971. – 4 cm of textual records

Biographical History

Alfred Polzin was born in Medlentien, Germany, in 1936 and came to Canada in 1960.  He studied at Caronport, Saskatchewan, the University of Saskatchewan, Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg, Virginia and the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary where, in 1971, he wrote a Master of Theology thesis on the history of the Germantown Mennonite Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Polzin served as pastor in Bluesky, Lac La Biche and Pineridge Christian Fellowship in Calgary.

Scope and Content

The fonds consists of a copy of Polzin’s Master of Theology, transcripts and published material related to the history of the Germantown Mennonite Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
