Helen Hiebert, beloved wife of William Hiebert of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the age of 76 years.

After finishing her schooling, Helen worked in an office and later on the dietary staff at Deer Lodge Veteran’s Hospital in Winnipeg. Helen and William were married on November 18, 1967 before moving to Calgary where they have resided since. There she was a wonderful homemaker and mother, always full of love and energy. Helen enjoyed baking, gardening, reading and helping her daughter in collecting teddy bears.

Helen is lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of almost forty-nine years, William; daughter Denise, both of Calgary; and her siblings, Susan Dirks, Marge Drummond, and Allan Wiebe, all of Winnipeg.

Helen is also survived by her in-laws, Christina Graham of Sault St. Marie, ON, Helen Hiebert of Lundar, MB, Mary Sabados of Wawa, ON, Anne Hiebert of Winnipeg, MB, Ernie Hiebert of Lundar, MB, Alvin Hiebert (Lottie) of Elliott Lake, ON, Grace Denhard (Orville) of Winnipeg, MB, Ed Jadeske of Saskatchewan, Walter Hiebert (Tina) of Lundar, MB, and Tom Hiebert (Deloris Chartier) of Winnipeg, MB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Peters and Kay Carr; and in-laws, Edward Graham, Albert Sabados, Louis Sabados, Diane Hiebert, Norma Jadeske, and Walter Dirks.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
